Vulnerable and Functional Access Needs Registry

Vulnerable populations are individuals with unique needs who may require assistance during emergencies beyond that provided to the general population. Emergency planners, volunteers, and other responsible agencies are tasked with working to provide reasonable accommodations allowing members of access and functional needs populations to be integrated into the general population as a whole during emergency situations. Unfortunately, identifying and tracking these individuals can be a daunting challenge.

HelpMe netEOP^TM allows both public and private access, which enables citizens, advocates, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) an easier way to register members of vulnerable populations. The on-line application allows emergency responders and other responsible agencies to plan for the needs of vulnerable populations by running reports and integrating with existing GIS services for map generation as well as identifying facilities to potentially meet their unique emergency needs
